Sam Kass's Blog: "Quartz Composer is probably the coolest technology added to Apple's MacOS X 10.4 ('Tiger'). It's an application available in the Development Tools, which is an optional install included on the operating system DVD. When installed, you'll find it in '/Developer/Applications/Graphics Tools/Quartz Composer'. It is used for things such as the RSS Screen Saver, and allows easy GUI editing of audio and video effects, although I've mostly concentrated on image bit twiddling."
